Hey y’all! As some of you may already know, I’ve been blogging for almost two and a half years so I’ve gone through my fair share of slumps as a blogger. Sometimes I’ll have a few weeks where I just don’t have any topics that I feel are worthy of blogging about, I’m sure pretty much everyone can relate to that so today I’m sharing a few ways to stay motivated as a blogger.

5 Ways to Stay Motivated as a Blogger
Browse Pinterest //
On those days that I’m just not feeling motivated to blog I browse Pinterest and see if the inspiration strikes. This usually helps me get out of my slump.
Write your posts in advance //
I’m always thankful those weeks when I just don’t feel like writing because I have pre-written posts that I can share without having to write while feeling completely uninspired.
Pro tip: Have 3-5 evergreen pre-written posts ready to go for those days that you just don’t feel like writing
Don’t focus on vanity metrics //
I know that this is easier said than done but focusing on your numbers and playing the comparison game will suck the life out of you and make you not want to blog because you’re too caught up in your vanity metrics.
Find an accountability partner //
An accountability partner can help you get motivated to write and focus on your blog again. I’ve had several in the past and they are really encouraging when you’re feeling down.
Make a schedule //
Making myself an editorial calendar was one of the absolute best things I’ve done for my blog. It helps keep me on track and I never run out of post ideas because I’m always planning them out at least a month or so in advance.
