Some of you probably already know that I celebrated my bachelorette bash this past weekend so I am going to give a little recap of the weekend and what all we did while in Fredericksburg, Texas. It was so much fun and I truly enjoyed every second of it. Now onto the Texas bachelorette party recap.
MY TEXAS BACHELORETTE PARTY
Can we first talk about how cute our Airbnb was? It was so girly and fun. I was basically in love with all of the decor and wanted to move in immediately.
Four of us got there a little early so we decided to go to town and explore the little shops and restaurants before stopping to eat at a cute little German place. After dinner, we headed back to the house and the last two girls arrived. They then had me hide in the bathroom while they set up the lingerie party. Because I’m me, this part was relatively embarrassing but still pretty fun. I opened each present and then had to pick at the end who each gift was from. I guessed 3/5 right, so not too shabby. I guess I just know my friends better than we all thought.
For the rest of the night, we all just talked and played some games and had a good time since we knew we had to be up semi early to head to the winery tours the next morning. In the morning we all got ready and then had a private bus pick us up at the house. We went to four different wineries and each winery had its perks. I am very surprised that I ended up liking at least one wine at each one because if you know me at all, you know I’m pretty picky with my wine and typically only drink moscato.
The first winery was called Fiesta Winery. We got to try six different wines of our choosing and I absolutely loved a few of them but only ended up picking up one bottle from here because my goal was to buy one bottle from each winery – which didn’t end up happening but more on that later. The wine that I purchased here is called Southern Sparkle and is a sparkling pink wine. Let me just tell you, it was SO good.
So Katy and Amaris didn’t get the colored shades memo, but it’s cool. This is right before we went inside the second winery, which ended up being everyone’s favorite. I got two bottles from here – a sparkling moscato and a blackberry wine.
Once we finished up at the first winery, we headed right across the street to the second, which ended up being everyone’s absolute favorite. They had so many good flavors and the staff was so personable and helpful. If I had the money, I would’ve bought 5/6 wines that I tried. That would’ve been a little excessive but no lie, it was all so good.
From there we headed to lunch at this little place called Hye Market and it was pretty good. We ate our lunch and talked and then headed out to the third winery of the day.
Oh you know, me and the best MOH ever. She did so well with planning everything and I cannot wait to see how the bridal shower turns out in a few weeks.
The third winery ended up being kind of a dud – there wasn’t really a wine I truly loved so I wasn’t too impressed and didn’t end up buying a bottle from there which is why I’m so glad I purchased two at the second winery.
The fourth and final winery we went to was called Fat Ass Winery which was pretty funny. There were two options here: dry or standard so all of us picked standard. I enjoyed the very last wine which was a peach one but didn’t end up purchasing a bottle from here either.
After the winery tours were over, we headed back to the house and took a nap. Once we woke up several hours later, we then headed to dinner. Then since we were all pretty much drained from the wine, we just chilled and watched TV and talked that night.
On Sunday morning, we just packed up and headed to brunch at a place called Sunset Grill before parting ways. I had such an amazing time and it was the perfect way to celebrate my Texas bachelorette party and I absolutely can’t wait to head back to Fredericksburg in the future for more wine tastings.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Where have y’all gone for a Texas bachelorette party? Have you ever been to a winery? Feel free to let me know down in the comments.
