Am I the only one who is just in utter disbelief that it’s already November?! Honestly, this was the fast year of my life but it has certainly been a good one. I’m here to share my November personal goals. My poor blog has taken a total backseat lately as my business has been incredibly busy. Although I am very thankful to have a booming business, I have missed being active here the past few months. I am going to try my best to get back to it just in time for the holiday season.
October Personal Goals Recap
Read two books // Didn’t quite read two books, more like 1.5 but I am still reading a little each night even though things have been insanely busy so I am proud of myself for that.
Work on finishing setting up my office // FAIL. So I have ordered the bookshelves as of yesterday but haven’t really gotten around to doing much else. Because my office is in the very front of our place, it’s the very first thing people see so I am really hoping to finish it by the end of the year so that when people walk into our home for the first time, the first room they see is pretty and complete.
Work on batching as much content as possible through the end of the year // This one was a fail too. Somehow Confetti Social got even busier last month so I was even more inconsistent and only ended up publishing two posts the entire month and didn’t even think about content for November and December…but the holidays are quickly approaching so I need to get a grip on that quickly.
So .5/3 goals were accomplished…definitely not proud but there have been some other things that I have been able to accomplish that weren’t goals so I am not completely slacking here.
November Personal Goals
Read two books // Sticking to my read two books goal, I am already halfway through one book so this goal shouldn’t be too impossible to achieve. I have been reading thrillers mostly, especially with the cooler weather.
Make a dent in my Christmas shopping // I’m 95% sure Michael and I won’t be exchanging gifts this year since we’ll be taking a big trip during Christmastime but I definitely need to figure out what I am going to get my parents and Michael’s mom for Christmas. Ideally, I’d love to complete this by the end of the month so that December is relatively worry-free in terms of Christmas shopping.
Transfer my domain to my new name // I have been putting this off for months and its now time to take the plunge. I am so over Breakfast at Lilly’s and feel like my new name is so much more fitting so it’s time to stop being lazy and make the transfer over, even though I am definitely a little scared because I don’t want to lose any content.
