Lakeway Resort & Spa

September 20, 2017

Disclaimer: This post is in collaboration with Lakeway Resort & Spa. Thank you for supporting brands that support Breakfast at Lilly’s.

Guys, I am super excited about this post. Last weekend I was given the opportunity to stay at the beautiful Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis in a little town called Lakeway, which is right outside of Austin, Texas. My husband and I had a great time so today I’m going to share some of the wonderful amenities with you.

Check out my review of Lakeway Resort & Spa in Lakeway, Texas.

Lakeway Resort & Spa

The Hotel

The hotel features 168 rooms with less than 15 rooms that are not facing Lake Travis which is amazing because you’re almost guaranteed a gorgeous view from your room if you stay at Lakeway. We stayed on the 4th floor of the resort and had an amazing view of the lake from our balcony.

The room was extremely spacious with a king size bed, a desk area, and a little seating area along with a beautiful balcony. Also, if you’re anything like me, then a comfortable bed is a big deal to you and Lakeway’s beds were extremely comfortable.

The Amenities

Lakeway Resort and Spa doesn’t lack in amenities, trust me. There’s a beautiful pool equipped with a swim up bar, a kiddie pool, a relaxing spa retreat, a kid zone so that you can enjoy yourself while your kid has fun too, a gym, and more.

As you can see the pool was stunning and so was the view of the lake from basically any point at the resort.

The spa was beautiful and had we been staying a few more days, I definitely would have gotten a spa treatment done myself.

As you can see from the photos above, the kid zone is such a perfect touch to the resort. I know when I was a kid, I would have loved to have something like this instead of having to do whatever my parents wanted to do.

The Restaurant

As you can see, we had quite the feast at the Travis Restaurant at Lakeway. We started our night with drinks – my husband got a beer from a local brewery and I went with a strawberry daiquiri. We decided to check out the calamari for an appetizer and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

For dinner, Michael ended up getting the steak while I opted for a chicken dish. Both were super tasty. The best part of the meal was our dessert, the bread pudding. I don’t know about you but I’m always down for dessert so when I saw bread pudding on the dessert menu, I knew we had to get it.

After dinner, we headed to the resort’s main bar called the Back Porch Bar. My husband and I ordered some drinks and watched a little bit of college football.

The staff at both the resort and the restaurant were so accommodating and helpful. They really made our stay even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed staying at the resort and will definitely be back in the future.

Your Turn:

Have you ever been to Lake Travis or even Austin before? Please feel free to let me know down in the comments.
