Benefits of Using Lifestyle Hashtags
First, we’re going to start with why you need to use hashtags on Instagram. Hashtags are super beneficial in getting your content seen by others but you need to be using the correct hashtags. Using generic hashtags like #fashion #food and the like will not get you anywhere since so many people are already using those hashtags.
Lifestyle Hashtags
#abmhappylife #abmlifeiscolorful #abmlifeissweet // This hashtag set was started by A Beautiful Mess! Each hashtag has tons of wonderful inspiration. I love to browse these when I want to find new accounts to follow.
#thatsdarling // This hashtag was started by Darling Magazine. They also have a few other hashtag sets but this is the one that I frequent the most. This hashtag has over 7 million posts.
#flashesofdelight // This hashtag was started the Glitter Guide and has over 3.6 million posts. If you post fun and colorful content on Instagram, then this is the hashtag for you.
#pursuepretty // This hashtag was started by Jemma Craig and has over 2.8 million posts on the hashtag. Since all of my posts are pretty colorful, this hashtag is always in my rotation on almost all of my photos.
#photosinbetween // This hashtag was started by Helene from Helene in Between and now has over 250k posts. It can be used on nearly any photo because it’s a pretty general hashtag but it has yielded me some great results in the past. In fact, one of my posts is sitting in the top posts spots as I type this.
#petitejoys // This hashtag was co-founded by Allie Seidel and another blogger. It now has over 917k posts on the hashtag.
#livethelittlethings // This hashtag was created by Run Style Run. It now has over 3.1 million posts on the hashtag.
#thesparklediaries // This hashtag was created by Rachel of Hello Her (formerly Seashells and Sparkles). It has over 6,000 posts now and is growing each day.
#thehappynow // This hashtag was started by the Happy Hunters and has over 3 million posts within that hashtag. This hashtag is for anything that makes you happy.
You can also use hashtags with your city + blogger attached. If you live in a decent sized city, there should be a hashtag for your town. For example, mine is #SATXBloggers
