Christmas and New Years are rapidly approaching and now is the time to get holiday ready. We all know that with the holidays comes tons of photo opps, so we need to be prepared for those. Follow my tips on how to get holiday ready and you’ll be golden.
How to get Holiday Ready:
1. Try to get a little exercise in each day // This is good for you in general but during the holidays we sometimes forget to do this and that can result in unwanted holiday weight gain so make sure to take a little time each day to do some type of work out to keep yourself in tip top shape.
2. Pamper yourself // A little pampering during the holidays never hurt especially since through all the hustle and bustle we often forget to take a little time for ourselves. Give yourself a facial, get a pedicure, or perhaps even take the time to whiten your teeth. Currently Walmart is offering a buy one, get one free deal on their 1 hour express white strips for a limited time. These strips are easy to use and remove years of stains in just one use. As an avid soda drinker, I need all the help I can get with keeping my teeth white. I have already used them twice in preparation for a company party this past weekend and have seen a noticeable difference. The best part about these strips is that you can talk and drink water while they’re on your teeth. How cool and convenient is that? Make sure to hurry over to your local Walmart and pick these babies up immediately.
3. Find the perfect holiday outfit // Another thing you should do in preparation for the holidays is find your perfect holiday outfit. Whether it’s a Christmas party or you’re ringing in the new year, there’s going to be lots of photos taken. Dress in what makes you feel confident and comfortable.
4. Drink lots of water & get lots of sleep // Water keeps you and your skin hydrated and makes your skin look better in photos and of course, sleep makes you look more alive in photos. These two can apply to pretty much anything but are very essential during the holidays because people tend to neglect themselves due to stress.
I hope everyone enjoys the busy holiday season and remembers to take care of themselves. Have a great, fulfilling holiday season y’all!
