If you’ve ever seen Parks & Rec, you know that Galentine’s Day is celebrated tomorrow, February 13th and is pretty much one of the best holidays out there. So if you’re single and ready to mingle or taken and just love to spend a little time for your girls, this one is for you. If you haven’t seen Parks & Rec, please do me a favor and start binge watching immediately. You’ll thank me later.
Galentine’s Day Ideas
- Go to brunch // If you know me, you know that I absolutely love brunch so that’s why this is the first suggestion on my list. Having a Galentine’s Day brunch complete with mimosas sounds like just the way I want to spend my Saturday.
- Have a GNO or even a girl’s night in // Us girls don’t get enough of these so take advantage while you can. Having a night with my girls every once in awhile is something that I cherish. If a GNO is your style, then have at it. If a girl’s night in is more your speed, then by all means go for it. Now that I am basically a grandma my personal favorite is a girl’s night in complete with some pizza and a bottle of wine…or two.
- Go on a shopping trip // Because what girl wouldn’t be up for a shopping trip? I am a big shopper so this is definitely one of my favorite options on the list.
- Get manis & pedis // Being pampered is essential so why not go get your nails and toes done with your best gal pals. I know I could use a pedi right now.
In addition to these Galentine’s Day Ideas, I also wanted to share my Galentine’s Day gift from my swap buddy Ashley at Lilly & Lemons as a part of the Galentine’s Day link-up with Michaela from Shore Life According to M. You can check out the other girls in the link-up on Michaela’s page if you’re interested in seeing what they received.
Ashley picked the perfect gift for me because she knew that I love stationary. I am beyond thrilled with this adorable notepad and can’t wait to put it to good use at the office to keep up with my ever-growing to-do lists.
How are you planning on celebrating Galentine’s Day? Let me know down in the comments.
