Finding the Perfect Skin Care Routine

May 30, 2016

When summer rolls around, I always have to make quite an adjustment to my skin care routine. During the winter I mainly focus on making sure my skin isn’t so dry, but during the summer I want to make sure my skin stays consistently hydrated since I am out and about in the sun more often. Reducing redness is also another factor that I am concerned about year round. Since my skin is pretty sensitive and finicky, I need a customized skin care routine that reduces redness, caters to my sensitive skin, and keeps my skin hydrated which is why I am so glad that I discovered Paula’s Choice and am now able to say that they helped aid me in finding the perfect skincare routine.

Finding the perfect skincare routine wasn’t easy but with Paula’s Choice, your skin care routine can be completely customizable down to every detail so this is perfect for someone like me who has a slew of different skin issues to combat but doesn’t want to continuously buy different products and test to see if they will work or not. I even got an over the phone consult with a specialist to figure out which products would work best for me which was a relief because I probably wouldn’t have even known where to begin otherwise. You can have your own consult too – continue reading for more details regarding your free consult.

For my customized routine, they recommended the CALM Redness Relief kit for normal to dry skin which has been doing wonders on my red prone and semi dry skin. For my day time routine, I start off with the Calm Cleanser and Toner, then move onto the CALM serum which is mixed with a few drops of the RESIST Moisture Renewal oil booster and then I finish off with the CALM SPF 30 because it’s essential to wear sunscreen every single day even if you don’t anticipate being in the sun.

My night time routine differs a little but I use most of the same products. The cleanser and toner remain the same but I use a BHA lotion at night instead of the serum. Then I finish the routine off with a night time moisturizer and a few more drops of the RESIST oil booster.
