Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a spectacular and relaxing weekend. Mine was filled with lots of graduation activities for one of Mike’s friends and overall it was a pretty great weekend even though it was busy and not too much relaxation happened. We went downtown on Friday night to kick off the celebration and every time I go downtown I feel like a complete grandma and always end up leaving before last call due to sheer exhaustion. I guess this is growing up because I sure can’t take the super late nights as well as I used to. Now without further ado, another outfit post featuring some tropical shorts from Tobi. Tropical Shorts
As you can see from these photos, it was pretty rainy yesterday so I had to make do with the weather and shoot in between the rain storm since the only time I can ever really shoot outfit posts is Sundays. #thethingswedoforblogging am I right? Anyway, it’s supposed to rain pretty much all week so I had to make do with whatever weather I could get yesterday.
I got these shorts that I am wearing in the above photos from Tobi and I think they’ll be just perfect for my upcoming honeymoon in November. Since the shorts are so bold, I decided to pair them with a simple black tee to tone the outfit down a little bit. I added in my favorite Jacks and my new favorite pink crossbody and called it a day especially after a long weekend. Sometimes we just need to embrace the more simple outfits, don’t you agree?
