August Goals 2017

It’s officially August so it’s time to share my July recap + August goals with y’all. Let’s dive in, shall we?

July Goals Recap

Read two books // Yikes, nope. Only was able to read one book this month but that’s okay since this month was extremely busy.

Continue working out 2x a week // If we’re being honest, July was pretty rough so I didn’t make it to the gym as much as I would’ve liked but I’m hoping to change that in August.

Pitch to more brands // Nope – didn’t accomplish this either.

 Take a little time for self care // Somehow, I actually completed this goal. Halfway through the month I realized I was in over my head with this blog, Confetti Social, and a few other side projects that I have taken on so I realized I really needed to focus on myself for a bit or I’d experience burn out real quick.

So although I only accomplished 1/4 of my goals – I’m certainly not upset about it. I took on a lot of new client work during the month of July with Confetti Social so other things had to take a backseat. This month’s goals are basically going to be a complete repeat of my July goals but that’s alright.

August Goals

Read 2 books // Okay I have got to get back to reading this month. It’s something I love doing and helps me wind down so there’s no excuse why I can’t read 10-15 minutes a night.

Get back into the gym // This month I really need to get my booty back into the gym. Working out does wonders for my stress levels so it’s time to get back to it.

Start pitching brands again // Ideally, I’d like to pitch myself to a few brands each week so I need to get into the groove of doing that on a weekly basis again.

Use video more often // At some point I want to start a YouTube channel to supplement Breakfast at Lilly’s but I think that’s a little further down the line for me. Ideally, I’d like to start live streaming on Instagram and Facebook more often to continue to get myself more and more comfortable with being on video.
