I am always looking to beef up my bank account in the fall to prepare for the upcoming holiday season where I know I’ll need a little cushion in my bank account so I can spoil my loved ones for Christmas. Today I’m sharing 5 ways to make money this fall.
Sell your gently used clothing
One of my favorite ways to make a little extra money is by selling my clothing and accessories like purses and shoes. I have found success on both Poshmark and at my local Platos Closet store.
Pick up a second job during the nights and evenings
Looking to have a little extra money to spend this holiday season? Pick up an evening and/or weekend gig like babysitting, pet sitting, bartending, etc. You can even drive for Uber or Lyft in your free time and be able to pick the exact days and times that you want to work.
Become a Virtual Assistant
Becoming a VA gives you the flexibility to complete work when you’re not at your day job. Before I started doing social media management full-time, I did some miscellaneous VA work here and there to earn a little extra money.
Utilize cashback websites
I don’t know about you but I love being able to shop and get cash back at the same time. I’m always ballin on a budget and websites like Ebates make that even easier. Before making a purchase, I always check to see if I can get cashback on Ebates to make sure I’m not leaving any money on the table.
Take surveys online
So the pay for these isn’t anything to write home about but if you like taking surveys and want to make a little bit of extra cash this season, then you could use a website like Swagbucks to do this.
