How the heck is it already May? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this year is surely flying by. I feel like I’m going to blink and it’s going to be Christmas time. If you’re interested, you can check out my April goals.
Read 2 books // This month I finished two books from my reading list. The first one I read was It Ends with Us and the second was Pretty Girls. I’ve been on a thriller book kick for the past year now so I always try to read at least one thriller per month.
Go to the gym 4x a week // So I was able to do 2-3 visits most weeks so I’m going to give myself partial credit for this one considering March was even worse in terms of going to the gym.
Enjoy my first real vacation since becoming self-employed // I sure did! I was nervous that I was going to be consumed with email but surprisingly I was able to relax and not focus on business-related tasks while we were gone.
I was able to complete 2/3 goals. For a busy month, not too shabby I’d say.
Read 2 books // I’m trying to meet my goal of 24 books this year so that means I need to read at least 2 books per month to achieve this goal. So far I’ve read 6/24 so I need to get to reading.
Go to the gym 3-4 times a week and eat healthy prior to the trip // We’re heading to Vegas at the end of the month so my goal is to hit the gym hard and make good choices with food until the trip. It’s certainly not going to be easy because my sweet tooth is out of this world but since it will only be 27 days, I think I will survive.
Finish spring cleaning // I haven’t made much of a dent in my spring cleaning but that needs to change this month because our apartment is craving a good clean.
